Ed started to learn how to DJ at the Cold Blend DJ course in Newcastle in January 2006, after completing the course in March of that year; Ed got a gig at the very popular Digital in Newcastle. Being 1 of very few DJs in England back then to get their 1st ever gig on the legendary Funktion One Sound Speaker System! And been 1 of the very 1st trance DJs to play at that venue!!

Since then Ed has travelled around Europe showcasing his DJing abilities, such as regular appearances at The Gallery @ Ministry Of Sound (One of very few DJs to have played all 4 rooms) and as Trance Sanctuary After Party Resident. As well as appearances at Godskitchen, FSOE, Judgment Fridays, Frantic, Goodgreef, Rong, DJ Mag, JOOF Recordings, Connect Ibiza, Reverie, Affinity Ireland, Ibiza Trance Family, Ultraviolet Ibiza, Driftwood, Friendz Boat Parties, Submerged Boat Parties, Afterhours.FM, Jam.FM and Trancelucid. And festival appearances such as Nature One, Sub Audio, Soundwave, Sussexfest and Greenlight in Sweden. As well as 6 years playing the ASOT pre parties and After Parties in Holland!

Ed runs the increasingly popular radio show called Adrenalin Sessions that airs on the World's Biggest Trance Radio Station; Afterhours.FM every 3rd Tuesday of the month. And in August 2016 and September 2016 he celebrated 100 episodes by hosting 2 huge parties at @night in Ibiza and at Fire in London with performances from Indecent Noise, James Dymond, Paul Webster and Woody van Eyden to name but a few!

In 2013 Ed joined the Elevation Audio Label/Promo along with his good friend Lewis Duggleby as Tech Manager as well as been resident closing DJ for the brand. Their hard work has lead to a string of releases in the Top 100 beatport Trance chart, as well as a monthly residency at Ministry of Sound, and other solo run events in London, Ibiza and Holland. 5 Years later the brand is strong as ever!

The style of music Ed plays is a very energetic blend of Tech Trance and Hard Trance with a bit of Hard Techno thrown in for good measure! He also likes to incorporate plenty of Mashups and bootlegs into his sets. And the occasional scratch or 2! But on the odd occasion likes to play the "softer" side of trance if asked nicely!! He's also no stranger to techno sets either!

Production wise; Ed focuses on quality rather than quantity, and likes to take his time. He had his 1st original single out in the summer of 2014, appropriately titled "Adrenalin”, and a year later in 2015 with “Epinephrine”. His 1st remix, which was for Scott Cameron - Restless Native. Shot up to No.4 in the Top 100 Beatport trance releases chart! He also has collaborated with Nick the Kid with "Flatliners" on Hard Trance Europe. In 2018 he has released "Meitreo" with Renegade System, again on Hard Trance Europe and with Costa Pantazis for ART Recordings with "Under His Eye"

Ed has also been making a name for himself producing mashups under the alias “Dirty chef”. His 1st mashup of “DK8 vs Underworld – Murder Was the Slippy Bass” stormed the crowds he played to in the summer 2008 as well as causing chaos on the dance floor with "Enjoy The Silence For The Weekend" in 2012, "Advanced Bastard" in 2013,“Genetic Ping Pong Animals” and “Hybrid Spaceman” in 2014 and “Zero Voodoo” in 2015. Also in 2015 and 2017 at Club414 he performed as Dirty Chef showcasing his mashups and mashing more tunes on the fly!

With now over a decade of experience, Ed continues to wow the crowds with energetic interaction, wearing his Oakley Sunglasses (No matter how dark it is!) and general all out enthusiasm behind the decks! Combine that with Ed’s lethally banging tunes and you’re in for some powerful ride!! Or as one fan described it: “Trance that is so hard, it makes my children cry!”
